Stainless Steel, Five-Sided Peace Pole
At
left is a stainless steel 5-sided peace pole with a stainless steel cap and the text etched in the
stainless steel. You can see by the darkness of the background that the photo was shot in the evening, yet the peace pole still is bright. These stainless steel peace poles reflect a nice amount of light.

Animal tracks can be added for $50. Usually I put animal tracks in a ring around the bottom of the pole, down where the animals are, with one track on each side. But other configurations are possible.
Installation:
About 20 inches of these peace poles get buried, so the 10.5 feet tall pole stands a bit more than 8.5 feet tall above ground. No cement is needed for installation. Just dig a simple posthole, set the peace pole in it, and push earth back in around it.
Stainless Steel
I
become more and more enamored with stainless steel for peace poles. I use a high grade stainless steel called 316L that some refer to as jewelry-grade stainless. It is highly resistant to corrosives and will remain shiny in acid rain and in marine environments.
